What you can try: The sumo rotational lunge is perfect for toning the quadricep muscles at the front of the legs and the muscles in the buttocks.
Stand with feet wider than hip-width apart, with back straight and arms by your sides.
Bend your knees to drop into a wide squat, lowering your body until the thighs are parallel to the floor.
Raise your arms to the front or sides for balance.
Push up on to the balls of both feet and pivot your body 180 degrees on the left foot, taking the right foot out and round so that you end up facing the opposite direction.
Drop into a deep squat again and then pivot 180 degrees on the right foot, swinging the left foot round until you face the opposite direction.
Repeat six to eight times on each side.
