Badly stuffed animals: The creatures who will never know the meaning of dignity in death
These poor animals would be horrified if they could see themselves now.
Stuffed, stretched, made to pull faces and turned into furniture, these pictures show what happens when taxidermy either goes very wrong or carried out by people with a rather sick sense of humour.
They are the latest set of images to have been posted on a Facebook page aptly named Badly Stuffed Animals, which has been “liked” nearly 45,000 times.

The pictures feature some of the world”s best-known creatures, including a leopard fashioned into some kind of stool or seat, a bird dressed in a suit and a cat sitting in a litter tray.
Some users have failed to see the funny side, however, with one calling it “very creepy”.
Previous pictures featured on MailOnline included a fox that had been stretched with a horrendous stoat-like creature widely found on theUK”s shores also on display.
The taxidermists even managed to get creative by gutting the insides of a pair of moles to make shoes.

Fur-ball abuse: This stuffed dog appears to have plenty to smile about in the afterlife while the wild boar, right, could benefit from a haircut
A helping hand: A stuffed gorilla doesn”t seem to have mastered Godzilla”s scare tactics while this dog will spend eternity in a state of surprise
There”s a new sheriff in town! This squirrel will no doubt have no trouble fending off the stoat-like creatures (below) who might be on the lookout for his Meerkat double!
