But Victoria Beckham gave her fans a rare insight into her personal life on Friday as she tweeted a snap of herself blowing out the candle on her birthday cake.
Two days after the celebrations, the fashion designer decided to upload the intimate picture while thanking all of her followers for their well-wishes.

With just one year to go before her landmark birthday, the star seemed keen to show everyone just how she was spending the first few hours of being 39.
Despite just having a quiet dinner at Nobu with her children, the fashion-conscious former Spice Girl looked as immaculate and styled as usual.
With her trademark dark hair twisted to the side and worn over one shoulder, Victoria looked down at the artisan chocolate cake, which had been specifically crafted for her.

She wore a loose-fitting black camisole top and an orange skirt, which was bunched up under her where she was sitting.
The star showed off her bronzed skin tone and seemed to have gone to town with her make-up, displaying long, false eyelashes and nude lipgloss.
Victoria had been eating at the upmarket London eatery with her four children, treating themselves to a delicious dinner, while husband David had to stay in Paris due to work commitments.
And it seems that the celeb hangout pulled out all the stops with the personalised dessert, which has a special birthday message on the front.

Uploading the snap to her Twitter page, she wrote: 'Thank u for all your kind messages fashion bunnies, I had such a special birthday x vb.'
Victoria and sons Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, and seven-year-old Cruz, alongside one-year-old daughter Harper only flew in from Los Angeles on Tuesday – just in time for her birthday.
But after a relaxing few days in London, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz jetted back to Paris where their footballer dad is currently residing.
On Friday David, 37, took time out from practicing with his teammates to have a kick around on the pitch with his three sons.
